Introduction (Part III)

The accompanying juvenile diabetes DVD’s are unique, engaging and very instructive. The special focus is underserved communities. Many professionals in the medical field, educators and professionals of other disciplines have participated and made important contributions to this program. It was developed in close consultation with state health educational guidelines for schools, and benefited from numerous meetings with various district personnel.

For the originators of Gee-Mart’s diabetic prevention and care program, all, who helped bring it into fruition, and all, who will help make it available to the many in need know this:
